This weekend, Alex went to his first birthday party. The party was for Evangeline, mommy’s friend from work’s daughter, and was at the YMCA in Milford. It was actually a lot of fun. They rented out the tumbling room where we got to run around, sing songs, and climb all over things.

After playing in the tumbling room, Evangeline’s grandmother sang a bunch of interactive songs that all the little babies and moms played instruments, clapped, and sang to. Best of all for Alex, he got to see all of his yoga friends outside of yoga. We met a lot of the daddies, who aren’t able to go to yoga, and saw some kids who weren’t in Alex’s class anymore. Oh ya, and of course, there was cake.
